The key difference between a permanent anchor and  rock bolting is that an anchor provides a design life of at least 120 years, achieved by encasing the anchor tendon in  a double corrosion protection system. Typically anchors are installed where there’s a requirement to withstand very high residual loads.

As well as Rock Solutions many years experience of anchor installation, the key to our success has been in the development of purpose designed drilling systems such as the A frame rig shown here. These innovations allow us to provide cost effective and safe solutions in the most difficult working conditions.
