Policy Statement

Rock Solutions Limited, based in Derbyshire, is a provider of industrial roped access and geotechnical engineering solutions to the rail industry and other sectors where geotechnical engineering requires application in hard to reach areas.

Rock Solutions Ltd aim to be the leader in the field by providing clients with the specified solution; meeting customer expectations in terms of quality of work, health and safety and environmental requirements.

To help achieve this, objectives and targets will be based on IMS policy, technological options, operational, business, legal and other requirements and through information received via stakeholders.

In support of the above aims Rock Solutions are committed to:

Continual improvement of its quality, health & safety and environmental systems which now meet all three standards

ISO 9001 (2000),

ISO 14001 (2004)

OHSAS 18001 (2007).

Compliance with legal and other requirements (which include Network Rail Requirements)

Prevention of pollution through enhanced waste control and project management

New subject areas will be sought in order to set targets and objectives approved by our M.D. and reviewed on an annual basis to achieve continual, measurable improvement in all fields.

This document will be communicated and explained to all employees and staff working on behalf of Rock Solutions and to all interested parties including sub-contractors and our suppliers so that their activities do not impact adversely on Rock Solutions environmental position.
