Application

Rock bolting involves drilling rock faces to install steel or GRP bolts that anchor the outer friable rock to more stable substrate layers or target specific rock layers. They are bonded using resin or cemetious grout depending on the application.

As well as Rock Solutions many years experience of rock bolting, the key to our success has been in the development of purpose designed drilling systems such as the A frame rig shown here. These innovations allow us to provide cost effective and safe solutions in the most difficult working conditions.
